Technology stocks led the rally, rising 1.8%, with Meituan gaining 2.0%, followed by Trip.com (up 1.0%) and SMIC (up 0.9%). Consumer and financial stocks also rose, as expectations of stronger household spending due to continued policy support continued, and the market is projected to close 2025 nearly 30% higher—marking its second consecutive annual gain.
