Hong Kong stocks edged down at the start of business Tuesday as traders weigh the likelihood of the Federal Reserve lifting interest rates more than expected this year. The Hang Seng Index dipped 0.13 percent, or 27.46 points, to 20,859.50. The Shanghai Composite Index was barely moved, edging 0.04 points higher to 3,291.63, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China's second exchange was also flat, inching up 0.02 points to 2,161.68. Hong Kong stocks started the week with healthy gains Monday, in line with a rally across most of Asia, with help coming from a strong performance in mainland Chinese markets. The Hang Seng Index rose 0.81 percent, or 167.15 points, to 20,886.96.
