Wednesday, 27 May 2020 11:04 WIB | GLOBAL |AmerikaGlobal

Officials of the American National Space Agency (NASA) said the weather seemed supportive for manned space flights supported on Wednesday (27/5), and the first in nine years from American soil.

In a briefing from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, NASA Chief Jim Bridenstine said that currently, 60 percent support, up from Monday.

The launch will be historic as well as being the first manned space from rockets and privately-made aircraft. Bridenstine said America was changing the way it launched space by commercializing low-earth orbits.

He said, the privately-made unmanned freighter ships during production-this year supplied the International Space Station (ISS). Wednesday's launch will be a new step for private production spacecraft carrying crews, and soon they will send crews to privately-made and operated ISSs.

NASA said it had taken extraordinary steps during the COVID-19 pandemic to demand the safety of all staff and crew.

The Crew and SpaceX Crew Dragon Craft were launched with the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and docked with ISS on Thursday.
