Gubernur Bank of England Mark Carney mengatakan pada hari Senin bahwa kemungkinan Inggris meninggalkan Uni Eropa bulan depan tanpa mendapatkan kesepakatan sebagai skenario Brexit paling berisiko untuk stabilitas industri jasa keuangan.
"Masalah terbesar dari perspektif stabilitas keuangan, dari perspektif integritas pasar, dari perspektif kontinuitas, merupakan skenario tanpa kesepakatan pada akhir Maret," kata Carney pada konferensi pers.
Brexit dijadwalkan berlangsung pada 29 Maret dan anggota parlemen di London belum menyetujui kesepakatan yang akan memperlancar kepergian Inggris dari Uni Eropa, sehingga membuka kemungkinan keberangkatan yang tidak teratur atau penundaan.(Arl)
