Fase Pertama Kesepakatan Perdagangan AS-China Diumumkan

Kesepakatan perdagangan antara Amerika Serikat dan China akan memberi keuntungan para petani Amerika sehingga mereka "harus membeli traktor yang jauh lebih besar," kata Presiden Donald Trump. Kedua negara itu mengumumkan kesepakatan dagang baru itu secara terpisah pada Jumat (13/12).

Berbicara kepada para wartawan di Ruang Oval, Presiden Trump, menggambarkan perjanjian dengan Beijing itu sebagai "kesepakatan fenomenal."

Pejabat dari kedua negara mengumumkan mereka telah menyetujui teks dari tahap pertama perjanjian perdagangan. Kedua belah pihak juga akan menghindari pengenaan tarif lebih lanjut antara satu sama lain.

ebagai bagian dari perjanjian itu, para pejabat China mengatakan negaranya akan meningkatkan impor produk pertanian, energi dan farmasi dari Amerika.

Trump mengatakan pembelian pertanian saja "tidak lama lagi" akan bernilai AS$50 miliar.

Seorang pejabat senior pemerintah AS, Jumat (13/12), juga mengatakan kepada wartawan, China berkomitmen untuk meningkatkan "pembelian barang-barang manufaktur, barang-barang pertanian, produk-produk energi dan layanannya setidaknya AS$200 miliar selama dua tahun ke depan."
