Oil ends session higher, but posts sharp weekly tumble
Saturday, 11 August 2018 02:03 WIB | ENERGY |MinyakWTIOil,

Crude-oil prices finished sharply higher on Friday, but the benchmark notched an overall decline for the week as a forecast for rising global crude demand, and supply boosts from Russia, offset lingering concerns about trade tensions cutting global consumption of energy products.

September crude oil ended up 82 cents, or 1.3%, to settle at $67.63 a barrel.

For the week, the benchmark contract registered a weekly loss of 1.3%, based on the most-active contract's finish last Friday.
