Gold Declines for Second Day as Treasury Yields Surge

Gold drops for a second day after yields on 10-year U.S. Treasuries climbed to the highest level in almost 10 months, weighing on demand for the non-interest bearing asset.

Bullion for immediate delivery as much as -0.3% to $1,308.33/oz, before trading at $1,310.93 by 10:06am in Singapore, according to Bloomberg generic pricing

Silver -0.1% to $16.9485/oz. Platinum -0.6% to $960.05/oz. Palladium -0.3% to $1,098.55/oz.
